Hello! I am a high school student attending New Trier High School and in a car one day while brainstorming ideas of something to do in the summer I came to the conclusion that I should share something I have with others. Me and my friends decided that since we all had musical education we should bring that joy and light to others who are less fortunate!
Hi! My name is Iris and I'm currently a student at Whitney Young High School. I'm excited to be a part of this nonprofit and help out kids. I feel like spreading our knowledge to others is such a good use of our musical abilites.
Hello! I am a high school student at Stevenson High School. One day, during a simple car ride with my friends, we were talking about what we wanted to do with our summer when the conversation turned into something much more meaningful. I realized that I wanted to give back by sharing something that has been such an important part of my own life.
Music has shaped who I am, and my friends and I are fortunate to have received musical education and training. We began to think about how powerful music can be—not just as a skill, but as a source of joy, comfort, and connection. That’s when we decided we wanted to use our love for music to bring happiness and hope to individuals who may not have access to the same opportunities. Through music, we hope to spread light, inspire others, and make a real difference in people’s lives.
